Bell Club Is on the App Store: Train Solo, Get Stronger Together

Our sixth app is live: kettlebell training on iPhone and Apple Watch. One bell, a plan that adapts week by week, and a private crew of up to twelve people who see that you showed up.

Bell Club is now live on the App Store. It's kettlebell training for people who train alone: one bell, a simple plan, and a small crew of people who show up with you.

Get it at bellclub.app.

What it is

You own one or two kettlebells. Bell Club turns that into a program: 2 to 4 sessions a week, written for the bells you actually have. Open Today and the session is waiting. Follow it on your phone or on your wrist: timers, rest, and the next move are handled, every set is logged as you go. Week by week the plan asks a little more, and your history shows the reps and kilos you've added.

Then there's the part most training apps get wrong: other people.

Crews, not a feed

Training alone is the realistic default for most people with a kettlebell in the living room. It's also the number one reason plans die in week three. Bell Club's answer is a crew: up to twelve people, small enough that you notice who is missing.

Crews are deliberately not a social network:

  • Private. Invite-only, and invites expire. No public profile, no follower count, no feed.
  • Reactions and check-ins, not chat. A reaction says "seen you". A check-in ("Training today", "Rest day") says where you are. Nothing to scroll, nothing to perform.
  • A challenge anyone can win. The weekly challenge counts sessions, not kilos, so the strongest member has no head start on the newest one.
  • Looked after. Every crew has an owner and can have moderators. Anyone can report or block.

The loop is simple: you finish a session, your crew sees that you showed up, a reaction comes back. Next Tuesday, you're less likely to skip.

The programs

Bell Club launches with a catalogue that starts free:

  • Foundations (free): six weeks that teach the patterns and build the habit.
  • Full Body Strength (Pro): eight weeks of squats, presses, hinges, rows and carries that build from more sets to heavier bells, with a deload in week four.
  • Kettlebell Conditioning (Pro): six weeks of EMOMs, intervals, AMRAPs and ladders with one bell, bookended by a ten-minute swing test.

Pro is $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year, with a 7-day trial.

Built like cast iron

The design language is called Cast Iron: flat surfaces, 2px ink outlines, hard unblurred shadows. No gradients pretending to be depth, no confetti when you finish a set. A kettlebell is a simple, honest object, and the app tries to be one too. You'll also meet Bo, the club's kung-fu sifu, who appears exactly as often as a mascot should: rarely, and in the right stance.

The sixth app

Bell Club is the sixth live product in our portfolio, the third on iOS, and the first with an Apple Watch app from day one. Same engine underneath as the other five: agents draft features, tests and fixes around the clock, automated review and CI gates on every change, people deciding what ships.

If you have a kettlebell gathering dust, this is for it.
